Title: 2016 Pixar Undergraduate Program - Group project
Software used: Maya, Katana, Renderman
One week group project done by the 2016 pups. Our objective was to tell a story in a limited number of shots given the amount of time we had for completion of the project. The group consisted of 10 people from different computer graphic backgrounds. We have divided work based on our individual skill set and also made sure to have an opportunity to step out of our comfort zone. I was personally responsible for modelling and sculpting the soccer ball, doors, shutters, arch, and background landscape. Along with modelling I have also shaded the background landscape and ground petals which I scattered around the scene along with some ground foliage. I also had an opportunity to learn about Pixar's water solution that was used in production that we took advantage of in our group project.
